First Open Russian Statistical Congress - October 20-22, 2015, Novosibirsk, Russia

In conjunction with the UN World Statistics Day, on October 20-22, 2015, the Russian Association of Statisticians will hold the First Open Russian Statistical Congress in Novosibirsk city. The Congress is the flagship event of the Russian Association of Statisticians and the first of its kind in Russia. The co-organisers include the Federal State Statistics Service (of the Russian Federation) and the Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management.

The Congress has been conceived as an open event for professionals and everyone who is interested in advocating statistics as a science and profession, promoting statistical literacy, statistical education in Russia and international cooperation in statistics.

The Program Committee looks forward to welcoming the foreign counterparts at an engaging event that would be conducive to discussing novel cooperative initiatives in statistics.
